The Society holds an Annual Summer meeting for members and their guests, and an AGM in October.

GEORGE BAXTER AND HIS MISSIONARY PRINTS Summer Meeting to be
held at the Ramada Jarvis Hotel, Redbourn.
We will have two speakers, the first, Charles Milner Williams, is a direct descendant of the Rev. John Williams who was massacred by the natives in Erromanga and has recently visited the country to take part in a reconciliation service. The second, Anthony Massey, is an expert on Victorian Missionaries and the London Missionary Society. We will also have on display all of the missionary prints and books produced by George Baxter and some ephemera by his licensees and other printers. Attendees are encouraged to bring along any items of interest they may have in their own collections. The meeting starts at 1.30. There is a charge of £7 for afternoon tea and spaces may be limited depending on numbers. |
